Who am I
I am Alex von Elzer. I am a Dutch composer, producer and artist who specializes in ambient and electronic music. My style is influenced by the Berlin school of electronic music, which emerged in the 1970s and featured artists like Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Vangelis and Jean-Michel Jarre. I started this musical journey in 1979, when I bought my first synthesizer, a Yamaha SY1. Since then, I immersed myself in the world of electronic sounds and sounds, releasing several albums both solo and in collaboration with other artists. He works from my own studio, Secret Demo Studio, in Hoek van Holland, where I experiment with new instruments, effects and techniques. My music combines dark and epic elements with experimental and ambient ones, creating a unique sonic experience that takes my listeners on a journey through time and space. I am a visionary artist who pushes the boundaries of electronic music and explores new possibilities of sound.

At this moment I am working on songs about my childhood musical heroes. My latest song is called ‘Childhood Heroes, Part 1, Vangelis’ and it is the first of a trilogy that pays homage to my childhood musical heroes: Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre and Klaus Schulze.
